My tropical gryphon, Kacela. Part scarlett macaw, part leopard. I love her so much I decided to redraw her in a more realistic manner. I made her wings smaller, so now she has flight capabilities slightly better than the average chicken. I did not mean to make her inner wing feathers look as if they were glowing. It just...happened.
Leopard spots, though time-consuming, are fun to draw.

I think this is a really creative idea, and the spots and wings are just beautiful. The pose is wonderful, and the glimmer in her eyes makes your awesome piece come to life. The originality of this idea makes this a drawing that I just had to stop and comment on before continuing with my prank faving-spree.
