No.. effin way.... oh damn.. I might have to do up a little pratchett fan art.. although I don't know how they can do Hogfather without mort... but then again they did Lord of the Rings without the Hobbit so who knows.

Hmm tv-based.. I hope it'll be better than video based animated adaptations.. those I felt lacked a particular aesthetic that Pratchet characters require... i think I need to do a little death fan art now.

It really better be good. I loved the Soul Music animated series, although it was, of course, nowhere near as good as the book...and the animation was kinda weird and twitchy sometimes. This one says it'll be live action combined with CG...I am wary of that since many times they aren't able to pull that off well in movies.

yes. live action plus cg always makes me wary. I mean these people think just because these objects can move around freely without any trouble on a screen this makes them more believable than say.. puppets or animatronics. Of course when people don't have the budget for say Industrial Light and Magic or WETA then they find their little CG fellas are in fact LESS believable. I hope some kind of up and coming company who really really pushes themselves bids to be on the project and makes it look amazing.. (I mean Pratchett has a lot of fans) but I dunno.... things don't always go as perfect as they do in my head.
